Be smart. Be practical.

Due to our poor economic situation, people tend to get smarter especially in their spending habits. They buy things that are affordable but with great value.

For example, some people want to buy expensive stylish glasses but smarter people will look for a cheaper one with the same value as the expensive glasses. Like what I have read in http://clarkhoward.com/shownotes/2008/10/15/14239/. It's a story about a couple whose daughter needs eyeglasses. They are choosing between Costco and Zenni Optical. The wife wanted to buy the expensive glasses from Costco, but she does not know that Zenni Optical sells Stylish Prescription Glasses Online for a reasonable price. The price starts at $8. If you compare it to Costco, a pair of glasses costs around $80. For that price, you can already buy 10 Prescription Glasses from Zenni Optical. Take a look at their sample product:
You can get this stylish eyeglasses for only $8. Isn't a great buy?

But if you are unsure of what you are buying, try to do some research. Let's use Zenni Optical again as an example. You might be wondering why Zenni Optical can sell their glasses for a lesser price. Do some research, check their website, read their about page and you will learn that Zenni Optical manufactured and sells their own products with no middleman, no retail overhead, and practically no advertising budget. That is why they are able to bring to all a very high quality product of great durability, safety and comfort at truly reasonable and affordable prices.

This should be lesson to all of us. Buying something that is cheap in price doesn't mean you are cheap. Remember, quality does not have to be expensive. Be smart. Be practical.
