PMC Weekly Fest: PHOTO POST: CRYING PEEPS!!

For PMC’s 15th weekly themed event: A picture of yourself or your hubby or your kids crying and explain why.

GUESS WHO:

She's definitely a cry baby. She is also known as "iyakin". (Iyakin means a person who has a shallow tears.) She easily cries over cheesy and drama moments. A week will never be complete without tears falling to her eyes.

Can you guess who is this crying baby???

PMC Weekly Fest: PHOTO POST: LUCKY ME! WACKY ME!

PMC Weekly Fest
This week's benefactors: PMC, Beauty of Life, Money Maker and Creations.

Hmmm, this week's weekly fest is a bit hard for me since I don't have "WACKY PIC". Anyway, here's my entry....

The photo show that you saw above was taken last night. It was my hubby's idea for my wacky entry. While doing my photo show, I remember this animated gif:

It's me and my cousin Ktrix doing some wacky poses on my web cam. We look like lokaret. Lol.

And last but not the least:

These photos were taken 4 years ago. My friend Shobe and I decided to act like we were young again. I really don't consider these as wacky pics but I had fun doing this wacky photo shoot. :)

I told you I don't have wacky pic but I have wacky PICS. lol...

PMC WEEKLY FEST: Memorable Kisses

PMC Weekly Fest

Memorable Kisses PicturesClick the image to enlarge

My hubby and I have collections of "kiss" photos. Montsch, my hubby, loves to take pictures especially when we're kissing. Anyway, to be honest, I can't remember when those two pictures on the left side were taken. But, on the right side, of course it was our wedding day (December 16, 2007). And the last picture was taken on our 1st anniversary as boyfriend-girlfriend.

PMC Weekly Fest: PMC and Birthday!!!

For this week’s fest, benefactors are:
Our Journey to Forever
FilConnect
Pinay Mommy Online

I don't remember when or how I joined Pinay Mommies Community (PMC). But let me try to refresh my memory. All I can remember... I was blog hopping, and I stumbled on one of the PMC member's blog. I noticed the badge that says "Proud Member of Pinay Mommies Community". To be honest, I ignore it at first. Because I'm not yet a mom... I continued my blog hopping, and I can still see those badges. Because of my curiosity, I clicked on the badge, was directed to PMC site. I was so excited to see that as long as you're a married Filipina, you may join PMC. That's how I joined PMC.

I even remember asking Mommy Ruby, founder of PMC and my mentor in blogging, if I can have my own PMC bagde. After a few days, I already have this.

I started my blogging life as nothing. But with PMC, I'm already existing in the blog world. I learned so much from the PMC's mommies, from widgets to my journey to motherhood.

What I love about PMC is the weekly fest wherein every member are encourage to join and win some stuff. So if you're a Pinay Mom or Wife, join us and register here.

And since Mommy Ruby celebrated her birthday lasy July 25, I have something for you.. Hope you like it mommy...

PMC Weekly Fest: Your Kid's Wackiest Photo

Click the image below to enlarge

This week’s fest benefactor is Pinay Wife Speaks, and she’s giving away prizes. Click here for details.

I don't have a kid yet. But most of the PMC members knows how much I love my niece. Frances is like a daughter to me. So I decided to post this for the PMC weekly fest.

These are some of her wacky photos (trust me there's a lot). This kid loves camera. She knows how to pose and project for the camera.

I'm not really sure when these were taken. But on the first picture (upper left), she's holding a broom. That is her favorite toy. I don't know what she's doing but she really looks funny in that picture.

Next photo, she's wearing a wonder woman costume. She really looks like a super hero.

Lower right, she acts like a mumu (ghost). She loves horror movies, so she seldom imitate those scary characters.. Her favorite is "The Ring"

Last three pictures were taken on the same day. She was playing with her cousin, Arielle. She's so cute when she makes faces...

Happy 4th Birthday!

This week's PMC weekly fest is hosted by The Nambiars. It is about a 4th birthday party idea, and what a great timing because my niece is celebrating her 4th Birthday today (July 2). Happy Birthday Ceces!

Anyway, I don't have children yet, but I LOVE parties, especially children's party. Simply because I love kids.

Planning a birthday party is not as easy as we think, especially on a tight budget. There are so many to things to consider like:

1. Budget: Decide what you can afford to spend on the party. Stick to it.

2. Location: Pick a location that is not so expensive.
Instead of going to the expense of renting a place for your birthday party, why not have it at your house or at the park. It's free!

3. Guests list: Decide on how many guests you can accommodate as far as pieces of cake, dinnerware, grab bags, etc then write it down. Remember, your primary goal is to make the birthday child feel special. And nothing makes a birthday party more exciting to a child then to see her friends from nursery/school there.

4. Invitations: Instead of buying those expensive invitations, write and give out invitations. Handwritten or computer-generated invitations work well and add a personal touch to the party. Email your invitation or use a website such as www.evite.com to send your invitations.

5. Pick A Theme With your Child:
Sit down and have a fun conversation with your child. Give them a piece of paper and have them tell you (and write down) what kind of party they'd really like to have.

Suggestions for themes:

FOR BOYS:
Spiderman
Pirates
Superman
Scooby Doo
Zoo
Zorro
Batman
Cars

FOR GIRLS:
Disney Princess
Barbie
Power Puff
Dora
High School Musical
Care Bears
Alice In Wolderland

For more Party Themes, you may click here

6. Food: Keep the food simple. Most kids love hot dogs and chips. For the cake, if someone in your family can bake a cake, why not? Store bought cakes are expensive so prepare your own birthday cake or let grandma or another relative prepare it as part of their gift to the child.

7. Decorations: If you are having a themed birthday party, chances are there will be decorations to go along with the theme. Decorations are relatively easy to set up. A helium balloon tied to each chair that a party guest sits at around the table is a great way to stretch decorations. Try incorporating some items you already have on hand as part of the decorations. For example, if your child is a fan of trains, set up her toy train set around the perimeter of one of the tables.

8. Games: Bring out the old favorites, like pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey, musical chairs or Simon says. Or get more ideas by talking to other parents, checking a party games book out of the library, or searching the Web.

9. Goodie Bags: As a fun activity, have the guests decorate them at the party. Activities like: making their own bracelets and necklace, or purchase some white paper lunch bags and let the kids decorate their own treat bags with stickers, crayons and glitter. Find inexpensive items and candy at discount stores to fill the bags.

Just some few rules:

1. The birthday party is for the benefit of the birthday child and his or her friends.
2. Don't do it alone. Ask someone to help you.
3. Be sure there's plenty to do.
4. Don't forget the safety of the children.
5. HAVE FUN!

A Letter for my Daddy

This week’s PMC Weekly Fest is a tribute to our father or hubby...

Daddy,

There are so many things that I want to say to you, but I don't have the courage to do it. Love and hate, two words to describe my feelings for you... I guess you know what I meant.

Hate? I do not hate you for what you are.. However, I hate those "unpleasant things" you did to us. I hate those years that you are not on our side. It was hard for us to see our own mom hurting. You let us down and betrayed our trust..

But I thank you, for those experiences make me stronger. It made me the person I am right now. Also, thank you for admitting your mistakes and coming back to our lives. I hope you keep in mind the promise you made; the promise you made with mom to stay married until "death do, us apart" is a serious promise. Please don't let us down again. Though we are still hurting, it feels different when you are back.. We are complete again.

Love? of course, I still love you. Let's forgive and forget the "unpleasant past". You taught me that everything does work out for the best, that love is possible and if God throws you a curve ball, that whatever is next to come is meant to come, everything happens for a reason.

I never told you enough that I love you but I think we both knew that we didn't need words to understand one another. That unspoken words were stronger than those spoken... I want you to know, though you had mistakes in the past, it does not makes you a lesser Dad. You are still a great Dad..

Happy Father's Day
