I knew this news before that Ely and Diane are not together anymore. I got it from a very very reliable source. They are not together even before the reunion concert. I heard Diane brought his present birthday boyfriend on the reunion concert and it might be one of the reasons why Ely had chest pain. But what ever their reasons for breaking up, let's respect their decision. Good thing they are still friends. Let’s wish them the best in their separate lives. And I'm still Ely Buendia fan =).

How often do you back up your files? Do you use an external hard drive for your desktop or notebook?
I always lose my files because I accidentally deleted them or my hard drive got corrupted. Though I save my files on a CD but it is not a reliable storage. I remember one time I saved some files on my CD, then after a while, when I want to open the files, my CD can't be read due to scratched. I was planning to buy an external hard drive but I don't have enough money for that. I'm thinking of an online storage services for backup. Can you suggest one?

It's already 1:23 AM here in the Philippines, but I'm still awake... Even though I had a long and tiring day, I'm still awake.
Anyway, I was out half of the day and did an early Christmas shopping. We (I, my husband, my sister and her boyfriend) went to Divisoria in Tondo Manila. Though Christmas is still 2 months away, the place was so crowded.
We arrived at there around 12:30 in the afternoon, and since it was lunch time, we ate first. We had Lomi, Pancit Bihon and a 1.5 liter of Coke. I paid Php 300 (around $6.16) for the food for 4 persons. After lunch, we headed to toy shops. I bought two lunch boxes for Php 240 ($4.93), 1 coloring set for Php 170 ($3.49), a diary Php 70 ($1.44), 3 badminton sets Php 300 ($6.16), and 12 pieces of wallet Php 100 ($2.05). Those are my gifts to my grand children and nieces.
Then, we decided to go shopping for ourselves. I bought to blouses for Php 450 ($9.24). My husband bought a jacket Php 500 ($10.27). My sister got 3 shirts, a pants, 12 pieces of headband for P680 ($13.96). It took us almost 5 hours to buy those things. Oh, before I forget, I also bought 4 yards of clothe for our sofa and it costs Php 720 ($14.78) and 2 curtains for our bedroom window Php 200 ($4.11).

When we were done, it was almost dinner time. So we stopped by at McDonalds, and had some snacks for Php 300 ($6.16).
My total expense is around Php 4,300 ($88.29), that includes our fare back and forth. I converted Philippine Peso to US dollars at the rate of US$1 to Php 48.70. Not bad for a great shopping galore.
I'm so very tired but still I need to stay up late just to wait for tasks.

This video was taken during the Pantene Bloggers Night Out held at Taste Asia, Mall of Asia. And yes, I was there. Actually we were there. I was with Mitch (who travelled from Subic, Olongapo just to attend this party and meet me) and her friend Jeff, my husband Monch, my cousin Trixie, Gabs aka Youngmaze, my sister Kiss and her boyfriend Jepoy.
This is the first time I attend a blogger party and I really have fun. I also had a chance to see Judy Ann Santos in person. But unfortunately we don't have pictures with her.
Anyway, here are some of the photos taken during the party.
I don't know what's with our night because our group photos taken by the Pantene photographer were ruined or something happened that they can't develop them. Then, of all time, my camera became temperamental. Some shots were blurred. So I had to use my cellphone's camera.
Anyway, Judy Ann is so nice that she even say hi to us when she was in her way out of the venue. Honestly, I was starstruck that I didn't know what to say. We didn't even ask her if we can have pictures with her. We just stood there and smile.
But after the meet and greet with Judy Ann, RJ Jimenez and his band performed some songs. Then another band played some 80's songs, I think I heard their name is Mistakes (I'm not sure because we are already outside enjoying the beers and cocktails.)
We really enjoy the party. We will definitely attend the next blogger party. Thanks to Pantene!

Of course this is an auto-redirect site because my blog is hosted by blogspot and I redirect it from my own domain. But I received another email from him and here what he said:

I apologize if I haven’t posted new entries since yesterday. I am suffering from coughs and colds. I just wanted to let you know that I'm around. Good thing, today is my husband's rest day and he's taking care of me. Anyway, I have to a rest now, I need to sleep.
I'll be out this evening for a "pamamanhikan". Pamamanhikan (Climbing for Love) is a Filipino tradition where the man and his parents visit the woman’s family and ask for her parents blessings to marry their daughter. Pamamanhikan comes from the word "panik" which means to ascend or to climb a house’s flight of stairs. This custom symbolizes honor and respect for the parents, seeking their blessing and approval before getting married. It is also at this time that the wedding date is formally set, and the couple become engaged to get married.
Anyway, my cousin will get married to her long time boyfriend on December 9, 2008. I'll be the one to make their audio-visual presentation. Also, she's asking for my help in planning her wedding. If you don't know, I'm a frustrated wedding planner too.
So, I have to get ready now. It's already 5 in the afternoon. I'll be back later. See you guys.
